CAPE COD BROADCASTING INTERNSHIPS
Locally owned and operated Cape Cod Broadcasting – the parent company of 99.9 WQRC, Ocean 104.7, Cape Country 104, Classical 107.5 WFCC, and CapeCod.com – offers Internships and For Credit internships throughout the year in various departments, including production, programming, news, sales, promotions and online. Specific internship responsibilities vary according to those outlined by each department. Internships and For Credit Internships are open to students in both high school and college who are interested in learning about the multi-faceted world of radio broadcasting and online.
High school internships are for students participating in approved work-study programs through their schools. Internships are completed during the school week, within the academic year, pursuant to the Massachusetts Work-Based Learning Plan. They focus on driving school-to-career learning and productivity on the job within the framework of a radio station and online. Applications for high school internships must be facilitated through a teacher, counselor, or program director at the student’s school.
College internships are open to undergraduate students receiving academic credit from an accredited institution of higher learning. College internships typically coincide with academic semesters, or summer break months. For Credit college Internships must be facilitated by the student and coordinated through the college of enrollment. Please contact Cape Cod Broadcasting with your interest.
